20. She opens her arms tot he poor and extends her hands to the needy. 21. When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. 25. She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. 26. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. 27. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. 30. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. 31. Honor for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Proverbs 31:20-21, 25-27, 30-31

So as it is, International Women’s Day 2019, I would like to lift up the many women of the bible. Below I have shared a link to a listing from A-Z that you can click on each of the names of the women of the bible. I encourage you to go there, learn, read and grow in these truths. My friends, all of these women we can learn from. They are in the book as truth in a heritage and message that continues to be the living breathing word of God. They are women of history. Women that have laughed, loved, endured and shown faithfulness to the Father. Some, as many in the bible, are not perfect. For only one has ever walked this earth that is perfect. That is King Jesus. He is alive and our example of how to love God with all of our heart, soul and mind. He shows us time and time again in the pages how to love our neighbors as ourselves. Let us reflect on these women as teachers some who we look to be a good examples and others a lesson of learning.

There are some of these women who have shown great courage and faithfulness in times of adversity, by the power of God and His plan things unheard of were done. There was protection as they stepped in faith, remembering the promises of the God who sent His son, Jesus to save us ALL.

Today, let us not boast in any works but what God our Father our creator has done. Let us boast in how He loves us. How He is in control no matter what we may feel and know that His hands are all over it. He has already overcome this world. Rest and be joyful in His truth, in His peace and in His love.
